ATEN Technology is rolling out a new retail product line featuring two- and four-port cable and desktop KVMs (keyboard/video/mouse) designed for consumer, small office and small and midsize business environments.

The new products facilitate switching between Mac and PC systems. They also offer the ability to access applications and files on a new computer that were stored on an old PC; protect a new computer from malware, spyware and viruses by surfing the Internet with an old computer; and connect laptops to full-sized keyboards and larger video monitors.

"We are leveraging our three decades of KVM innovation within the enterprise and mid-market segments and taking the universal applicability of our leading edge technology to the streets," Sampson Yang, CEO of ATEN Technology, said in a statement.
