The two providers will offer VoIP with Microsoft Response Point Service Pack 1.
Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) (NASDAQ:MSFT) has announced that Cbeyond (NASDAQ:CBEY) and New Global Telecom (NGT) will offer digital voice services for Microsoft's Response Point phone system for small businesses. The two providers will offer fully integrated VoIP service with Microsoft Response Point Service Pack 1 starting this summer.
Cbeyond and NGT were selected for their focus on coverage, high quality of voice service and customer satisfaction. Each provider uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking, the industry standard, which boosts quality of service and overall network health. The two companies will participate in an upcoming 12-city Response Point training tour for small business specialists and value-added resellers, offering tutorials and guidance on their services.
"We've conducted thorough tests of the services delivered by Cbeyond and NGT and are pleased to align with these leaders and engage their channels to deliver Response Point as a complete VoIP solution to small businesses," Xuedong Huang, general manager of Microsoft Response Point, said in a statement.
