VistaPrint Awarded New Patents
The three new patents are related to the company's design studio technology.
VistaPrint (NASDAQ:VPRT) has been awarded three new patents related to the design studio technology on the company's Web site, which facilitate the customization of small business office products, such as business cards, stamps, calendars and magnets.
The first is a method for automatically generating and displaying multiple product templates under user control for user review. The second is for automatically selecting an image and automatically combining the selected image with a layout, color scheme and fonts to create a product template for displaying to a user. The third provides enhanced text editing capabilities in a browser document.
"VistaPrint is continuing to revolutionize the mass customization marketplace by processing an average of over 30,000 orders per day from 19 websites and shipping to more than 120 countries around the globe," VistaPrint's chief operating officer, Wendy Cebula, said in a statement.
