AMD Releases Business-Ready Desktops

AMD Business Class technology offers a commercial platform for the small businesses.

 

AMD (NYSE:AMD) has unveiled a new program that provides the foundation for desktop business computers. AMD Business Class technology offers solution providers a high-performing, energy-efficient and secure commercial platform designed for the small and midsize business market.

The new Business Class processors, including Phenom and Athlon, provide up to 24-month stability and come with a three-year warranty. The open platform allows solution providers to customize their offerings to meet the needs of their end customers. The combination of the processors with AMD's 780V chipset results in reduced power consumption and small form factors that can save space.

"AMD remains committed to offering the channel industry-leading AMD processor and chipset solutions to help differentiate their products and services in the marketplace," Mario Rivas, executive vice president of AMD's computing solutions group, said in a statement.
