IBM (NYSE:IBM) has expanded its Express Advantage portfolio of solutions for midsize businesses. The new offerings include a secure offsite data backup and recovery service, and an e-mail continuity and archiving service.
IBM's business continuity solutions include Remote Data Protection Express, an automatic, turnkey service for distributed or remote environments; and Data Retention and Archival E-Mail Management Express, a portfolio of e-mail continuity and archiving solutions. Security offerings include Express Penetration Testing Services for uncovering vulnerabilities by simulating a real network attack; Express Multi-Function Security Bundle for do-it-yourself protection against network threats, Express Managed Multi-Function Security Bundle for a fully managed solution; and Express Managed Protection Services for Servers, which offers protection for servers from an array of threats, as well as monitoring and management services.
