The desktops feature built-in power management tools to control energy consumption.

HP (NYSE:HPQ) has unveiled two energy-efficient desktop PCs for business. The Compaq dc5850 Business Desktop PC and Compaq dx2450 Business Desktop PC feature built-in power management tools to help users control their energy consumption and reduce costs.

The dc5850 provides businesses with integrated ATI Radeon 3100 graphics and support for DirectX10 technology. Standard support for RAID technology with data mirroring helps minimize computing disruptions and protect critical business data. The dx2450 delivers high-end graphics cards and memory expansion capabilities that are compatible with most computing environments.

"HP provides customers smart technology ideas and always-there expertise to help them choose the desktops that best meet their business and user needs," Alan Reed, vice president and general manager of personal systems group at HP, said in a statement.
