Novell Unveils Security Management Platform

Novell (NASDAQ:NOVL) has released an integrated platform of identity and security management solutions optimized for use with SAP’s (NYSE:SAP) NetWeaver platform and business software applications

The new solution addresses governance, risk and compliance, human resources and enterprise resource planning, providing customers with access to policy management and enforcement capabilities that help reduce redundant administrative costs, automate manual processes, simplify password management, and adapt to changing employee structures.

"Our industry-leading identity and security management solutions make it easier to automate, validate and enforce IT controls in real-time," Jim Ebzery, senior vice president of identity and security management at Novell, said in a statement.
