Vonage, Covad to Deliver Broadband Solution
Vonage Broadband will offer DSL services with speeds of 6.0 megabits per second.
Vonage (NYSE:VG) and Covad Communications (DVW:AMEX) have teamed up to provide Vonage customers with a broadband solution using Covad's nationwide DSL network.
Available by year-end, Vonage Broadband will feature DSL services with maximum download speeds of 3.0 or 6.0 megabits per second to both residential and small business customers. The new service expands the MyVonage portfolio of products and services, which includes such bundlable services as Vonage Visual Voicemail and Unlimited International Long Distance Calling and V-Portal.
"We look forward to partnering with Vonage as its broadband wholesale service provider," Patrick Bennett, Covad president and CEO, said in a statement.
