Hostopia Introduces Fax-to-E-Mail Service
The new IP fax service allows a user to send or receive faxes from a computer.
Hostopia.com, has unveiled its new private label wholesale fax-to-email service, designed for service providers to resell to small business customers. The IP fax service allows a user to send or receive faxes from a computer, and usually within a preferred e-mail application, such as Microsoft Outlook, without the need for a physical fax machine or additional phone line.
The new service can be branded by the provider and sold as a standalone service or as part of a bundle, such as a Web hosting and business e-mail package. It can be billed to end users directly by the provider or sold on a referral model where Hostopia performs the billing and end-user support.
"Fax-to email is in high demand as a business service with annual growth of over 25 percent according to a prominent category study published by Davidson Consulting," Paul D. Engels, Hostopia's chief marketing officer, said in a statement. "Our wholesale customers such as telecoms and broadband companies are eager to offer these services to their SME customers," he adds.
