The new service provides small firms with timesheet and payroll data services.
AT&T (NYSE:T) and Xora have teamed up to offer the new Xora GPS TimeTrack solution for workforce management. The new service provides businesses with timesheet data collection, work-order management, payroll integration and location tracking capabilities on AT&T-powered smartphones.
Xora GPS TimeTrack acts as a mobile punch clock on which employees in the field can log hours, breaks and specific jobs via a simple interface. The FlexFields feature records specific job-related data so that the company can more accurately bill customers, cost out jobs, track inventory and its pay employees. All information can be viewed on a PC in near-real time, including detailed maps showing the current location of workers, location activity, landmarks and street addresses. The solution is also compliant with a number of accounting and timekeeping applications.
"With the addition of Xora GPS TimeTrack to our robust portfolio of GPS-based offerings, AT&T business customers have access to one of the leading mobile field-service solutions on the market today," Michael Woodward, vice president of Business Voice/Data and Wireless Products for AT&T's wireless operations, said in a statement.
