Panda Security Offers Managed Office Protection
The Web-based tool provides remote security protection for small businesses.
Panda Security and Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) have signed an exclusive distribution agreement for Panda Security's Managed Office Protection. Tech Data's network of value-added-resellers will market the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering designed to provide remote security protection and management to small and midsize businesses.
The new Web-based subscription service requires no additional hardware, maintenance personnel or resources dedicated to antivirus, yet achieves high-level security for PCs, laptops, servers and remote branch offices. Companies can manage their protection remotely via a user-friendly Web console. Panda Security's proprietary Collective Intelligence technology adds proactive malware protection to the solution.
"Panda Security Managed Office Protection represents the ideal security solution for SMBs who need robust and reliable protection for their entire network, regardless of node location," Thomas Fraser, vice president of sales at Panda Security, said in a statement.
