Telanetix Upgrades Telepresence Video Quality
The enhanced tool offers better support for high-definition video.
Telanetix has released version 3.4.3 of its Digital Presence technology platform. The enhanced tool offers better support for high-definition video to the entire Digital Presence product line, improving video quality for both standard definition and HD use.
The new platform, designed for the small business market, also extends the Telanetix Legacy Compatibility option with additional H.323 support. The enhancements will be available not only to new customers but to all existing installations via a simple upgrade.
"Because our system was designed to be flexible, we've enabled the system to automatically and transparently connect with the existing videoconference systems without having to be in 'SIP mode' or 'H.323 mode'," Rob Arnold, CTO of the Telanetix Video Division, said in a statement.
