8x8 Adds Call Queuing to Packet8

The new feature allows small businesses to accept more incoming calls.

8x8 (NASDAQ:EGHT) has upgraded its Packet8 Virtual Office small-business phone service with the addition of a call queuing functionality. The Packet8 Virtual Office Call Queuing feature allows businesses to accept a greater number of incoming calls by placing callers in a queue, rather than sending them to voicemail when employees are busy.

Ideal for businesses that receive incoming calls to their sales, technical support, customer service and billing departments, the enhanced service offers an affordable, user-friendly alternative to traditional PBX phone systems. It includes an auto attendant, music on hold, worldwide extension dialing, business class voicemail, a full-featured conference bridge and ring groups.
