Chi to Resell Hifn iSCSI Appliances

The new NSA provides unified threat management for smaller businesses.

 

Chi, a Cleveland-based storage value-added reseller, has signed a distributor agreement with Hifn (NASDAQ:HIFN) to add Hifn's Swarm iSCSI storage appliances to its product line. The Swarm iSCSI appliances are designed to support both SAN and NAS storage, and provide integrated storage services.

Ideal for small and midsize businesses, the Swarm appliances offer an all-in-one solution. They feature automatic backup compatible with most leading software, which eliminates the need for a separate backup server. In addition, they provide businesses with encryption, storage consolidation, centralized management, high availability and seamless integration with the Microsoft operating environment.

"The design of our Swarm product line took into account the features, functionalities and pricing that a VAR needed to compete in the market."
