SonicWALL Upgrades SSL VPN Portfolio

The new line facilitates the use and management of secure remote access.

 

SonicWALL (NASDAQ:SNWL) has released several flexible new enhancements to its SSL VPN product line, facilitating the use and management of secure remote access and technical support for small and midsize businesses.

The new 3.0 firmware for the SonicWALL SSL-VPN 2000 and 4000 platforms streamlines remote access administration with a more intuitive interface. It features hot keys, such as one that instantly launches a real-time chat session with a technician, for better remote technical support. It also offers a new quick-diagnostic utility that provides instant insight into a computer's configuration, which can speed up the resolution of an incident.

"The increasing costs of doing business combined with a soft economy makes it more important than ever for IT to consider cost-effective solutions like Virtual Assist," Upa Hazarika, SonicWALL SSL VPN product manager, said in a statement.
