Trend Micro Launches Worry-Free Secure Site

The new solution scans sites daily for application vulnerabilities.

 

Trend Micro (NASDAQ:TMIC) has introduced Worry-Free SecureSite, a hosted solution that helps ensure the safety and integrity of the Web servers behind small business e-commerce sites.

The new solution scans Web sites once a day for existing and emerging application vulnerabilities. If any are found, online retailers may use either in-house IT or Trend Micro channel partners to address the issues. Online retailers that do not address these issues will lose the opportunity to display the Trend Micro SecureSite monitoring symbol on their Web site.

"Our SecureSite hosted solution is in beta now and online retailers can apply to participate in the beta by going to [our Web site]," Frank Mong, vice president of SMB marketing for Trend Micro, said in a statement. "We want to work collaboratively with the online retail and security communities to develop the best possible web application vulnerability monitoring solution."
