NEC HDRAstor and Symantec Enterprise Vault Compliant

NEC's (NASDAQ:NIPNY) HYDRAstor HS8 grid storage platform has completed successful interoperability testing with Symantec's (NASDAQ:SYMC) Enterprise Vault. The combined solution offers companies an integrated enterprise archive on a scalable storage platform to help them manage data, not just infrastructure.

HYDRAstor's unified grid storage platform optimized for both backup and archive includes self-aware, self-healing servers with no single point of failure and no central resource bottleneck. It offers unrestricted independent linear scalability; data integrity and protection; simplified management of all backup and archive storage; and global de-duplication for both backup and archive.
