Verizon Enhances Wireless and Wireline Service

Small-business customers are offered wireless voice service with unlimited calling.

Verizon (NYSE:VZ) has announced that its small business customers will now be able to have wireless voice service with unlimited calling between a Verizon Wireless phone number and up to five wireline phone numbers.

New or existing Verizon Freedom for Business service accounts can now be combined with Verizon Wireless plans to get unlimited calling between a wireless phone and up to five business wireline telephone numbers for a fixed monthly fee of $4.99 per wireless line. Calls to these five wireline numbers will not be charged against the wireless plan minutes.

"Every penny counts for small businesses, and Verizon Freedom for Business with Wireless Voice allows small-business professionals to make unlimited calls to the business numbers they call most without using wireless minutes," David E. Frendo, director of small business products for Verizon, said in a statement.
