SkillSoft, EMC To Offer Storage Technology Course

The STF e-learning provides training in Securing Storage and other tools.

 

SkillSoft (NASDAQ:SKIL) and EMC (NYSE:EMC) have teamed up to deliver a storage design and management curriculum designed to provide the skills to become proficient in storage technology. The two companies have created 12 Storage Technology Foundation (STF) e-learning courses.

The STF e-learning courses include Securing Storage, Network Storage Systems, Fiber Channel Storage Attached Networks, Replication and Business Continuity, Monitoring and Managing the Data Center, and Storage Virtualization Technologies. They are delivered via the SkillPort platform, the learning management system for SkillSoft's e-learning solution. Upon successful completion of the 12 courses and proctored certification exam, participants receive an EMC Proven Professional Storage Technologist Associate (EMCPA) certification.
