Careerbuilder, a Chicago-based employment site, recently launched a new service specifically designed for retailers. WorkInRetail.com allows applicants to browse for jobs by category, location and position, while accessing educational opportunities and career advice.
At the same time, employers can post job openings, view applications and contact data, or promote their brands. The site already has postings from 150 retailers.

IT for Women Entrepreneurs
Dialogue on Diversity, a Washington-based nonprofit, hosts its 15th annual Entrepreneurship/IT Conference this Friday. The day-long event offers women entrepreneurs a chance to mingle and learn about wireless innovations, diverse supply chains and capital access.
U.S. Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral will give this year's keynote address. Other speakers include officials from Verizon, the SBA and the Energy Department. Awards will also be presented to recognize the accomplishments of local organizations.

Konica Minolta unveiled a new line of printers that are ideal for small offices.
The magicolor 4690MF all-in-one printer offers copying speeds of 25 pages per minute in both color and black and-while. It also features enhanced scanning, low noise levels and a compact size. The magicolor 5600 series of laser printers comes equipped with software for advanced document processing, speeds of 31 to 37 pages per minute, and an option to print photos directly from a digital camera. The printers are compatible with Macintosh, Windows and Linux, and start at $1,000.
