Salary Expectations Lower
The weaker economy has jobseekers settling for less, a survey finds.

The economic downturn is forcing many jobseekers to reduce their salary expectations, according to Jobfox.
A recent survey of some 4,000 job ads found salaries offered for the 25 most demanded professions haven't increased over the past five month, the McLean Va.-based online job board reported. While most salary offers were flat, as many as nine had declined, the survey found.
Jobfox CEO Rob McGovern said employer concerns with budgets and the corporate bottom line are rubbing off on jobseekers and having an impact on salary negotiations.
"It's an employer's market right when it comes to salaries," McGovern said in a statement.
