Finance Workers Worried About Jobs
The economic downturn has CFOs, cash managers and other financial professionals feeling less secure about their jobs, according to the Association for Financial Professionals, a Bethesda, Md.-based trade group.
In a survey of 550 financial professionals nationwide, nearly all said they've already experienced fallout from the slower economy, ranging from smaller bonuses to fewer opportunities to advance, the group reported this week.
Two out of five respondents said they only feel "somewhat" secure in their job, despite taking on added workplace responsibilities since the slowdown began, the survey found.
About a third said they expected the economy to stabilize within the next few months.
