Conference on U.S. Innovation

 

Nov. 10, 2006 -- The annual Council on Competitiveness Innovation Symposium opens on Nov. 14 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

The event, which includes panel discussions on health, education, and technology, marks the 20th anniversary of the council, an organization of the nation's top business, university, and labor leaders. It will also coincide with the release of the Competitiveness Index, a gauge of the country's position in the global market since Sept. 11, 2001.
