Consumer Outlook Weakens
Nov. 9, 2006 -- Consumer sentiment dropped marginally this month ahead of Tuesday's mid-term election, a preliminary survey found.
The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for November fell to 92.3, from 93.6 in October, analysts said.
Both the survey's gauge of current conditions and consumer expectations were trending down this month.
