IRS Increases Vehicle Deductibles

 

Nov. 6, 2006 -- The Internal Revenue Service today raised the 2007 standard mileage rates used to calculate deductibles for businesses that operate vehicles to 48.5 cents for every mile driven, up from 44.5 cents in 2006.

The agency cited higher vehicle and fuel prices in raising the rate.
