Laptops, Shoes Top Online Sales

 

Nov. 7, 2006 -- Laptops and other consumer electronics are topping the list of holiday season online purchases this year, according to a survey released today by zanox, a New York-based online marketing firm.

The pace of online holiday shopping is picking up daily and expected to peak on Dec. 12, the firm said.

The top three searched-for items this year are laptops, shoes, and mobile phones, the survey found.
