Online Retailers, Small Businesses Best for Electronics

 

Nov. 10, 2006 -- Online retailers and independent merchants ranked highest for customer satisfaction among electronics retailers, according to a survey of nearly 20,000 consumers released yesterday by the Consumer Reports National Research Center. 

In all product categories, online venues were rated highest. Among walk-in stores, local stores scored highest, followed by Costco, Ritz Camera, Tweeter, and Ultimate Electronics, the survey found.
