Realtors Meet in New Orleans

 

Nov. 10, 2006 -- The National Association of Realtors opened its national convention in New Orleans yesterday, the largest commercial gathering in the city since last year's devastating storm season, city officials said.

The annual event brings together more than 30,000 realtors from across the country for business meetings, political forums, and training sessions. It is expected to inject up to $34 million in the local economy, organizers said.
