Search Engines Help Boost Results for Smaller Firms

 

Nov. 16, 2006 -- A new protocol adopted jointly by Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft will help small businesses get better search results for their Websites, the companies announced today.

Sitemaps.org offers webmasters tips on improving how their sites are crawled and indexed by search engines, while making more efficient use of bandwidth by listing new features, the companies said.
