Golfer Woods Tees Off New Venture
Nov. 7, 2006 -- Golf legend Tiger Woods is turning entrepreneur with the launch yesterday of his first golf course design firm.
Tiger Woods Design, based in Windermere, Fla., will create golf courses around the world for a range of skill levels, Woods said.
Woods plans to apply his extensive first-hand knowledge of the industry to guide the company, saying he's "logged enough time and learned enough lessons to start this venture."
