Procurement Help for Disabled Veterans
Nov. 7, 2006 -- Service-disabled small-business owners will be offered help in acquiring government contracts at an annual conference this Thursday in Atlanta, Ga., organizers said.
The Southeast Sunbelt Region Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Conference, hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration and co-sponsored by UBS, provides information sessions and discussions on the federal contract procurement process, timelines, and other forms of assistance.
The GSA is a federal agency that sets procurement policies and oversees $66 billion in government contracts every year.
Pre-registration at www.gsa.gov is suggested.
