More Features for Wireless Devices
Nov. 27, 2006 -- CSR, a Cambridge, England-based wireless-technology firm, has launched software that allows wireless keyboards and other devices to connect with computers before the operating system is loaded, the company said.
BlueICE is a Bluetooth-enabled system that eliminates the need for a reserve wired keyboard, allowing continued use of wireless peripherals while booting from a CD or changing system start-up settings, the company said. It anticipates wireless devices will soon be bundled as standard features in future PC shipments.
