More Small Businesses Using Credit Cards

 

Dec. 14, 2006 -- Small-business loans under $100,000 increased 25 percent between June 2004 and June 2005, according to a report released Thursday by the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy.

The report, which looked at all types of small-business lending, cited credit-card use as the main source of the increase.

The report also ranked state and national lenders by volume of small business activity.
