Dec. 15, 2006 -- Consumer prices were unchanged in November following declines in recent months, the Labor Department reported on Friday.
Modest gains in housing prices last month were offset by lower energy prices, the report said.
Excluding food and energy prices, core consumer prices have edged up 2.6 percent in the past year, the report.
