Vibrating Bar Code Scanner
Dec. 15, 2006 -- Code Corporation, a Draper, Utah-based manufacturer of data-collection devices, has released a new bar code reader that provides omni-directional reading capabilities for the price of a traditional laser scanner, the company said Friday.
The Code Reader 1200 can also be programmed to vibrate instead of beeping when confirming a "good read" for work environments where a beeping bar code reader would be a distraction, the company said.
