Dec. 20, 2006 -- Transtec AG, a European producer of computer hardware, and Zetera, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of storage-management software, are partnering to produce a line of storage devices targeting the needs of small businesses.

The products are based on Zetera's Z-SAN Storage-over-IP technology, which enables users to store and share data across multiple devices in different locations, the companies said.
