Jan. 3, 2006 -- Women business leaders in the Boston area are worried about the state's business prospects in the coming year, according to a new survey conducted by The Boston Club.
Sixty-seven percent of 156 women surveyed said they were pessimistic about the overall business climate, citing global events like the war in Iraq, high oil prices, and the devalued U.S. dollar.
Despite the negative outlook, 88 percent of the respondents expect their income to increase or stay the same in 2007, the survey found.
