Factory Orders Rebound
Jan. 4, 2007 -- Following sharp losses in October, new orders at U.S. factories edged up in November by 0.9 percent to $394.3 billion, the Commerce Department reported Thursday.
Manufacturing shipments and inventories also made moderate gains, the report said.
The gains were driven by a 1.6 percent rise in orders for durable goods, which have grown in three of the last four months, the report said
