Jan. 10, 2007 -- One in four HR managers receives on average more than 50 resumes for each job opening, while some receive more than 100, according to a recent survey conducted by CareerBuilder.com.

Of 360 HR managers surveyed, 56 percent said they screened resumes by scanning them for keywords such as problem-solving and decision-making. Other key components included leadership, oral and written communications, and team building, the survey found.
