Inc. 500 Company Acquired by Media Firm
Jan. 11, 2007 -- New Media Strategies, an Arlington, Va.-based online market intelligence firm, has been acquired by Meredith Corporation, a media and marketing company based in New York, the company announced this week.
The acquisition will bring new social media marketing strategies to Meredith's Media Marketing division, the company said in a statement.
"Both New Media Strategies and Meredith share a legacy of being media pioneers," Founder and CEO Peter Snyder said in a statement.
New Media Strategies ranked No. 484 on the 2006 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. It was the third consecutive year the company appeared on the list.
