Jan. 16, 2007 -- Vizu Corp., a San Francisco-based software company, on Tuesday introduced a new service that allows users to conduct market research through customized online polls.

Vizu Answers helps users create polls and place them before a targeted audience on sites within the Vizu Answer network, which includes Salon.com and the blogs DealBreaker and Hollywood Tuna. In turn, bloggers and Web publishers earn revenue by allowing the service to place polls on their site, the company said.
