Free Visual Voicemail
Jan. 19, 2007 -- CallWave Inc., a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based phone applications company, has released a free PC-based visual voicemail service, the company announced this week.
CallWave Mobile, which relays mobile phone voicemail messages to email accounts, displays the caller's name and message length in the subject line and lets users sort, prioritize, listen, and respond to messages from their email in-box, the company said.
The service does not require users to download software, switch service providers, purchase a new handset, or change mobile numbers, the company said.
