New Small Business Development Centers
Jan. 22, 2007 -- The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers announced Monday the opening of new locations at Shippensburg and Widener Universities, bringing the total number of university-based centers in the state to 18, the group said.
The centers provide entrepreneurs with free assistance through one-on-one business management consulting, and information and educational programs on topics such as marketing tactics or compliance issues.
Funding for the centers is provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Small Business Administration, among other institutions.
