Pennsylvania Issues Simplified Tax Forms
Jan. 24, 2007 -- Pennsylvania business owners this month will receive simplified unemployment tax forms for 2007, the state's Department of Labor and Industry said Wednesday.
In response to employer feedback, redesigned tax rate notices are now specific to business sectors and include large type, simple explanations of terms, and instructions tailored to specific employers, the agency said.
Labor and Industry Secretary Stephen Schmerin said the move would make the tax process more efficient and "save business owners time and effort deciphering forms."
