Inc. 500 Payment Processing Firm Expands

 

Jan. 24, 2007 -- United Bank Card, a payment processing company based in Hampton, N.J., announced Wednesday that it has partnered with Independent Bankers' Bank, a Springfield, Ill.-based correspondent bank serving financial institutions across the Midwest.

The partnership will allow United Bank Card to expand its presence in the financial institutions market, the companies said.

UBC currently handles merchant accounts for over 55,000 small and medium-sized businesses, processing more than $5 billion dollars annually, the company said.

United Bank Card ranked No.6 on last year's Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest growing private companies.
