Babson Professors Awarded Research Grants
Jan. 31, 2007 -- Two Babson College scholars were recently awarded $50,000 research grants in recognition of their ongoing studies on women's entrepreneurship.
Candida Brush and Patricia Greene were each recipients of a FSF-NUTEK International Entrepreneurship Award for their work in the Diana Project, a research project that examined the venture capital market for women entrepreneurs.
The award is sponsored by the Swedish Business Development Agency and the Swedish Foundation for Small Business Research, among other groups and agencies.
Brush holds the Paul T. Babson Chair in Entrepreneurship, while Greene is the school's provost.
