Survey: Working from Home Boosts Productivity
Feb. 7, 2007 -- More than a third of employees who use computers say working at home has made them much more productive than they were five years ago, according to a new telephone survey by Ipsos Public Affairs.
The survey, conducted for Lexmark, a Lexington, Ky.-based printer company, found that as many as 55 percent of employees polled said they worked at home at least one hour a week, while 34 percent worked from home more than five hours a week and 10 percent do at least half of their work from home.
