Feb. 7, 2007 -- Jive Software, a Portland, Ore.-based software-development company, has launched Clearspace v1.0, a new software collaboration tool for business communication, the company announced Wednesday.
Clearspace allows users to share documents, post blogs and wikis, and engage in forum discussions, while promoting business-knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving, the company said.
"Clearspace resulted from year-long conversations with some of the world's most innovative companies about solving the age-old collaboration issues in new and creative ways," Dave Hersh, CEO of Jive Software, said in a statement.
Jive Software was ranked No. 443 on the 2006 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
