Utah Celebrates Small-Business Day

 

Feb. 13, 2007 -- Small-business owners in Utah are gathering at the state Capitol in Salt Lake City on Tuesday for Small Business Day, an annual event sponsored by the local chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business.

The event is aimed at highlighting issues faced by the state's small businesses, and provides owners with an opportunity to join discussions with lawmakers on upcoming legislative agenda items that are important to the region's entrepreneurs and small businesses, organizers said.
