Feb. 26, 2007 -- Jets.com, a Quincy, Mass.-based private jet chartering company, has awarded eight jet operators top marks for customer service, the company announced Monday.

The company's bi-annual Circle of Excellence awards are based on surveys in which clients rate the appearance, amenities, and overall professionalism of their charter flights over the past six months, the company said.

The latest top-ranking companies are Aviation Consultants Inc. of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Fair Wind Air Charter of Stuart, Fla., Flightworks Inc. of Kennesaw, Ga., Liberty Jet Management Corp. of Oyster Bay, N.Y., Northern Illinois Flight Center Inc. of Lake in the Hills, Ill., Scott Richard Aviation Services of Allentown, Penn., and XO Jet of McClellan, Calif.

"Each time an air operator receives a perfect customer service rating from a Jets.com customer, it reflects very positively on us," Jets.com CEO Nathan McKelvey said in a statement. 

Jets.com ranked No. 66 on the 2005 Inc. 500 list of nation's the fastest-growing private companies.
